Terms of use

LingkodScholar is operated by the LGU Ormoc City Scholarship Office. The platform is provided as a public service to accept and manage scholarship applications, track application progress, and support approved scholars in complying with program requirements.

Use of the applicant portal is intended for residents of Ormoc City who meet the criteria published by the LGU Ormoc City Scholarship Office. The office has final authority over eligibility and approval decisions.

Applicants sign in using a passwordless email flow. It is your responsibility to keep access to your email account secure. Do not share magic links or verification codes with anyone. Scholars receive separate credentials for the mobile app upon approval.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit. Submitting false, misleading, or impersonated information is grounds for rejection and may be reported to the LGU Ormoc City Scholarship Office and other authorities.

New applications can only be submitted during an open application period announced by the LGU Ormoc City Scholarship Office. The currently open period, if any, is shown on the landing page. Submissions received outside an open period will be refused by the system.

The Qualifying Exam, CSDWO Interview, City Hall Interview, and final-document submission are conducted in person by the LGU or authorized personnel. LingkodScholar records the official result for each stage as determined by the LGU. Applicants are notified of each stage decision by email.

If an application is not approved, the LGU Ormoc City Scholarship Office follows the approved data-protection procedure: the applicant is notified of the reason, and personal information and uploaded documents are removed from the active system seven days after the application period ends. Only a minimal anonymous audit record is retained.

Applicants whose applications were not approved may submit a new application in a future intake if their circumstances change and they still meet the eligibility criteria.

You agree not to attempt to circumvent access controls, use the platform to send unlawful content, or interfere with its normal operation. The LGU Ormoc City Scholarship Office may suspend access in cases of abuse or misuse.

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the LGU Scholarship Office procedure or in the platform. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last updated.
