How it works

Five stages, one at a time

Your dashboard shows where you are, and the office emails you after every decision.

  1. A student submitting forms at a registrar's counter

    Stage 1

    Application

    Fill in your profile and upload your 2x2 ID picture, Barangay Clearance, and Certificate of Indigency.

  2. Students taking a written exam in a classroom

    Stage 2

    Qualifying Exam

    Take the exam on the schedule and venue the LGU emails you.

  3. An applicant meeting with a social welfare officer

    Stage 3

    CSWDO Certificate

    Get your case assessment certificate from the CSWDO and upload it from your dashboard.

  4. An interview panel at City Hall

    Stage 4

    City Hall Interview

    Attend the interview at City Hall with your assigned batch.

  5. Documents being checked at the LGU office

    Stage 5

    Final Documents

    Hand in the originals at the Scholarship Office and upload a photo of each for the record.

About the program

Support for Ormoc City students

The LGU Ormoc City Scholarship helps qualified students from Ormoc City who need financial assistance to continue their education. LingkodScholar replaces the paper intake with a secure online process. Exams and interviews still happen in person.

Approved scholars use the LingkodScholar mobile app to track their community-service hours and stay compliant with the program.

Who can apply

  • Resident of Ormoc City

    Shown by your Barangay Clearance and Certificate of Indigency.

  • Enrolled student

    Enrolled, or about to enroll, in a recognized school for the covered school year.

  • Complete requirements

    Every Stage 1 document submitted and validated by the Scholarship Office.

  • Program compliance

    Scholars complete the required community-service hours and follow LGU program rules.
